3. Write a brief narrative of the main features of the data portrayed in the graph.
Short-term debt (P millions)
Figure 1 shows the Total Sales of “XXX” Corporations, Year 2007-2018. The corporation's sales began at
P4 Billion in 2007. The sales progressed throughout the years 2008-2010, reaching P8 Billion by 2011. In
2012 and 2013, the sales were increasing consistently. Subsequently, in 2014, the total sales experienced
steady growth and were amounted P10 Billion. The growth continued the following two years. In 2017,
the total sales had reached P14 Billion. The progress was stable and continued in 2018, where the total
sales almost reached P16 Billion. These data indicate that the total sales of “XXX” Corporation had a
consistent growth over the 12-year period.

4. Compare the high and the low common stock prices since 2007 in a graph of your choice for “XXX”
Corporation. Write a brief interpretation of the main features of the data portrayed in the graph. The
high and the low common stock prices for the “XXX” Corporation since 1983 are:

This figure shows the difference between the high and low common stock prices of "XXX" Corporation
from 2007 to 2018.

The high common stock price has remained at 40.85 for the first three years, while the low common
stock price has marginally decreased from 30.90, 30.00, and 29.25, respectively. In the next three years,
the high common stock price increased from 48.00 in 2010 to 64.75 by 2011, and then dropped to 51.75
in 2012. At the same years, the low common stock price decreased from 34.00 in 2010 to 32.00 by 2011,
and then increased to 39.65 after a year. After three years, the high common stock price progressed from
72.00 in 2013 to 81.65 by 2014; however, it decreased to 80.15 a year later. Dissimilar to the low common
stock price, it increased steadily from 45.75, 63.25, and 63.50, correspondingly in the same years. For the
last three years, both high and low stock prices have risen. In 2016 and 2017, the high common stock price
reached significantly from 75.35 to 98.35, but in 2018, it only increased by 0.65, yielding a final value of
99.00. Meanwhile, the low common stock price increased from 60.25, 67.75, and 70.00, respectively. To
sum up, year 2018 had the highest prices in both categories.
