SHORT F ILM COMPETITION

Abby is an amateur film maker who had entered and won a short film competition

organised by MCU Institute. She found out about the competition on (21) _

and tried her luck. There was a lot more to making a film compared to filming people or

staging

a (22) buher experience in both helped her. Though it was difficult, Abby

enjoyed the process. Money was a problem but not as big as getting the crew

(23) together. The film had a limited number of (24) and

most of the crew were needed behind the scenes in pre - and post - production work. Since

the script was mostly ready, most of the work was in preparing the (25) and

casting. The characters of the (26) were hardest to .c a st . Abby was

really thankful that everything fell into place. Not only did her teacher and friends contribute

but her parents too allowed her to use their (27)

which helped a lot. Post-production work was not easy as the (28)

was difficult. In the end, Abby had a great time
