THE STONE FOREST

The Huayllay Stone Forest is one of the most impressive places I have seen with my
family. It is located in the district of Huayllay, province and department of Pasco, Peru.
It has been protected since 1974 by the establishment of the Huayllay National
Sanctuary. It constitutes an Andean natural wonder, at 4,310 meters above sea level.
It is a tourist attraction because it brings together more than 4,000 beautiful and
numerous rock formations that resemble gigantic human profiles, such as the walker or
thinker, and animals, such as the turtle, the alpaca, the condor, the elephant, the zebra,
the penguins, the dog , the snail, among others.
Before arriving at the stone forest, I found myself in the province of Huayllay, there are
many things to do and attractive and interesting places to visit, such as LA CALERA are
hot springs, there are wells and personal pools that you can visit with your family, the
locals Mention that the hot springs in this place are medicinal. You can also enjoy
typical food and there are many restaurants and fascinating memories of your trip in this
place.
The stone forest is a very exciting place and I had a fantastic time. It was a very
beautiful and unforgettable experience, I really hope to visit this wonderful place again
as my family.
