Why Did Kit Kat change its
wrapper to red
During World War II, a shortage of milk made Rowntree’s switch from
milk chocolate to dark chocolate in Kit Kat bars. The business replaced
the red wrapper with a blue one and dropped chocolate crisp from its
title[However it only stayed for 2 years]. Instead of the shiny plastic
covering, Nestlé created a new Kit Kat packaging in Japan that uses
matte paper. It is not only more environmentally friendly in design, but
it may also be folded into an art form. The company just created the
"first-ever" recyclable paper chocolate bar wrapper, according to the
report.
