AUXILIARY OIL PUMP LOGIC

The auxiliary oil pump must be running (condition of compressor to start) before start the compressor.
During startup is forced in automatic mode and kept running until Timer2 is elapsed. After this time is automatically stopped and set in manual mode.
With compressor running, after Timer2, the operator is able to start the pump manually (could be useful just for tests).
When compressor stop the pump is force in auto mode in running, until Timer5 is elapsed.
In case of seal gas is missing during compressor stop (only for process where needed) the pump is stopped when Timer4 is elapsed, but in case of seal gas is available again, restart until Timer5 is elapsed.
When Timer5 is elapsed, the pump change in manual mode, but the pump remain in running; the operator is able to stop manually.
With compressor running, in case of low oil pressure alarm, the auxiliary pump restart in automatic mode and could be stopped manually by operator.

ANTISURGE CALCULATION TYPE SELECTION ANTISURGE DETECTION TYPE SELECTION

Because of different instrumentation and logic control between different compressor supplier, there is the possibility to choice between 4 different logics: Because of different instrumentation and logic control between different compressor supplier, there is the possibility to choice between 3 different logics:
Atlas Copco DPFLOW/DPSTAGE (ACE DP/DP) TYPE 1: SICPV < SICSP
Atlas Copco antisurge control type : surge point is calculated by a ratio between DP_FLOW and DP_STAGE Any time SICPV become less then SICSP (Pulse) a counter is increased by one and a timer is started (15-30s). During the timer counting, if the counter is greather then 2 (3) the
Atlas Copco FLOW (ACE FLOW) surge alarm is created. During the timer counting, if the counter is greather then 4 (5) the surge trip is created.
Atlas Copco antisurge control type: surge point is calculated by MassFlow corrected by pressure and temperature TYPE 2: discharge pressure gradient
CAM DP/P Any time the discharge pressure gradient is less then the surge threshold (Pulse) a counter is increased by one and a timer is started (15-30s). During the timer counting, if the
Cameron antisurge control type: the line is calculated by ratio between DPFlow/DeliveryPressure. counter is greather then 2 (3) the surge alarm is created. During the timer counting, if the counter is greather then 4 (5) the surge trip is created.
CAM I/P ATLAS COPCO TYPE 3 (EXTERNAL CONTROLLER)
Cameron antisurge control type: the is calculated by ratio between Current/DeliveryPressure. An external controller receive the measure of discharge pressure and flow differential pressure. It automatically provide surge alarm and surge trip according to the ATLAS
internal settings.
