Jingna Zhang, is a fine art director and photographer borned in Beijing. She has worked with many magazines
like “Vogue” in china, Japan, Singapore, etc. as well as “Elle” and “Bazaar”. In her web page, you can find her
portfolio, which contains many different categories. For example, there is the fashion styling, the
beauty, celebrity, esports, covers and advertising categories. In this document I will be discussing her fashion, esports
Fashion styling can be quite extense in terms of the way pictures can be arranged. However, Zhang follows
certain patterns that make her style unique. For example, in most of the pictures she uses earthy tones not only in the
backgrounds, but in the models and clothing as well. Speaking of the backgrounds, these tend to be either plain or
with a very subtle texture. Unlike from de models, which tend to have very bulky clothes, with a lot of movement and
texture. The hair appears to be in a very natural form, this being either free or arranged in a very feminine braid as
well as the makeup, which in almost every picture is very simple and it just emphasizes the models features. In most
pictures, the models have little props that tend to be nature representatives like flowers, stems, etc. All these mixtures

Singapore’s team, and the founder of an e-sports team in StarCraft 2. Then, she became the agent of various
illustrators, so her work is very well done. A very special feature that characterizes her work is the fact that she uses
unreal, imaginative, and creative art in her compositions. For example, in some of her pictures she shows a team outer
space but close to what could be a water fountain and where gravity seems to exist but just in some areas…
In a different set of pictures, she shows us a team of women walking through what could be floating rocks and crystals
that surround a river… Although some pieces of her work are very unreal like I just described, others are just
Finally, the last category that I’m going to discuss is the cover´s one. This category has a lot of similarities
with the fashion one, the earthy colors, plain or subtle backgrounds are a distinctive approach used by the stylist. In
covers, she still uses voluminous clothing that provide the picture with movement and texture. Nature props are still
used in a delicate way, since the model features are the one that stick out. In addition, a very interesting fact that I
found was that most cover pictures are taken of Asian models. The stylist uses very natural makeup, but the models
Next, I will show you some of the pictures in each of the categories.
