FIRST DAYS OF YOUR STAY

1. Register at the main office in your Dormitory

2. Contact International Exchange Office via e-mail

Please send us a scanned copy of your dormitory card and boarding pass/ticket confirming the date of your
arrival at the dormitory and/or Katowice (if you do not stay in a dormitory) to erasmus@us.edu.pl. This
information is necessary to provide you with confirmation of your arrival (which will be sent to you by e-mail).

The International Exchange Office will also register your arrival in the University’s
online system (USOS) STUDENT NUMBER

3. Contact your Faculty Coordinator via e-mail

Please get in touch with your faculty coordinator to obtain further organizational information and your class
timetable.

4. Go to the Dean’s Office at your Faculty
Please visit the Dean’s Office (Polish “dziekanat”) at your host faculty to finalise the formalities at the
faculty level and get access to our University’s online system USOS.

5. Legalize your stay in the City Hall and the Voivodeship Office
Please make sure that your stay in Poland is legal during the whole period of your mobility. For more

• combat sports: self defence, kendo, aikido, judo, karate kyokushin, boxing
• fitness: gym, aerobics, joga, sport aerobic, powerlifting, swimming
• dance: salsa, salsa solo, jazz, ballroom dance, zumba
• team sports (for men and women): futsal, basketball, voleyball, lacrosse, badminton,
