Official Bermuda XC Challenge Invitation

Dear Coach, Student-Athlete, Parent / Guardian and or Supporter

We are pleased to invite you to compete in the 2023 Bermuda XC Challenge being held December
2, 2023 in Devonshire, Bermuda. Athletes from the U.S. and Bermuda will enjoy international
competition, camaraderie, and culture as they compete in a 5K race through the Bermuda
Botanical Gardens, a 35-acre landscaped park located in Padget Parish. In addition, athletes,
coaches and supporters will enjoy a welcome reception at the host resort, shopping, cave
swimming, cliff diving, a closing bonfire dinner and other activities during the 3 nights/4 days stay
at Grotto Bay Resort in Hamilton Parish, Bermuda.

This competition is presented by the Bermuda Tourism Authority, the Bermuda National Athletics
Association, MileSpilt, and Speed4Sport LLC. In tandem with three-time U.S. Olympian Hazel Clark,
who also serves as Director of Global Business Development and Partnerships for The Bermuda
Tourism Authority. Speed4Sport launched the inaugural Bermuda XC Challenge in December 2022;
more than 70 athletes, coaches and supporters traveled from the U.S. to participate in the event.
There were 158 total competitors who participated across six cross-country events for ages 10 and
up. Most recently we hosted the Bermuda T&F Challenge (June 2023) to a rousing success of
competition, camaraderie and culture of over 80 registered athletes representing six states (NC,
NJ, OH, PA, KY, and TX). We are excited that you and your team may potentially join us on the
island in December!
