WARRANTY :

workmanship defect from the date of delivery and we will provide ten years after sales service at nominal

120 KVAr P. F. I. PLANT
STANDARD :
The Power Factor Improvement Plant will be assembled as per the BS standard.
TYPE OF USE :
3 Phase, 415 / 240V, 50Hz, 120KVAr, 6 stage Automatic Operation by means of PFC Relay.
CONSTRUCTION :
Sheet steel clad, dust and vermin proof free standing, floor mounting type cubicle made of 16 SWG sheet
steel having front hinged type door with door locked.
Adequate ratings of bus bar shall be fixed at the back part of the cubicle and capacitors, magnetic
contactor etc., will be located at the middle part on a front faced mounting plate.
The capacitor shall be dielectric consisting of metallized polypropylene foil filled with non PCB stabilized
insulating agent with a flash point of > 250°C. The dielectric is self-healing. In case of overload voltage,
the self-healing effect takes place. .
Reactive power control Relays are microprocessor-based control relay for intelligent control of capacitor
banks with 6 control contacts. The PF Relay equipped with the control button and stage operating
indication lamps will be flush mounted at the upper part to operate and monitoring the PFI Plant manually.
The cubicle / panel board shall be painted finish with semi-texture spray quoting with color RAL 7032
which shall be resistant to petrol , paraffin alkali

01 No. Power Factor Control Relays with microprocessor-based control relay for intelligent control of
Capacitor banks with 6 control contacts, Clear digital display of key momentary values, Power Factor,
total voltage distortion factor, Number of active Capacitor Steps. The P.F.I. Plant can be operate Manual /
Automatic operation with ability to switch each individual capacitor stage ON or OFF. Alarm signals are
also available for Over current, Fault in voltage circuit, Fault in Capacitor Stages in the relay.

Installation testing & commissioning of complete Sub-station equipment excluding Cable, Civil work and
any other Electrical / City Corporation Authorities permission expenses etc. The equipment such as
Transformer, LT. Switchgear Panel, P.F.I. Plant installation work will be done with supply of all
consumables.
EARTHING FOR SUB-STATION & EQUIPMENT :
Earthing of Sub-station and equipment with 1” dia G. I. pipe 10' each top and bottom up to a depth of
80ft. in four pits using copper conductor of 4 SWG HDBC excluding making of inspection pits.
Earthing of Lightning Arrestor with 1” dia G. I. Pipe up to a depth of 20 ft in one pit using 4 SWG copper
conductors.
EARTHING BLOCK :
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 2 Nos. copper earthing block with required Nos. of ¼"
hole for ECC connection Size – 254mm x 40mm x 10mm. One for transformer neutral and another for all
substation equipment’s ECC connection.
