I. Learning Objectives
At the end of the lesson the student are expected to:
1. evaluate health information and select health appropriate products and
services;
2. adhere the importance of selecting health products and services;
3. adapt the evaluation of health information and selection of healthy
products;
4. distinguish the form and type of quackery;
5. identify the three forms of quackery; and
6. determine the different products of quackery.
III. Procedure
A. Review
Ask the class about the previous lesson.
What they learn in the previous lesson.
Ask the students if they really understand the past lesson?
B. Motivation

The teacher will show different pictures of medicinal plants.

A. Consumer health

E. Application
A. Consumer Health
Four groups will be formed in the class. Each group will create
or re-create a product commercial about consumer health.
Throughout the presentation, the students will respond to the
following question.

The teacher will conduct a role-play activity for the students.
The teacher will divide the class into three groups.
After the teacher divided the class, he/she will assign the Group
1 to act or present a role-play about the quacks doctor while the
Group 2 will act as hilots, and Group 3 will act as a albularyos.
IV. Assessment
A. Consumer Health
The teacher will show a short clip of video or a picture and ask
the students what types of Consumers is being shown.
B. Quackery
Answer this question in a one whole sheet of paper.
