Procedural Handbook for International Students of HBIIBE
Visa Application
After you receive the Form JW202 and Acceptance Letter from Hebei Institute of
International Business and Economics, please go to the Chinese Embassy/Consulate
to apply for your student visa with other necessary documents.
Please apply for an X1 visa if you are planning to study for more than one semester.
The Visa is valid for 30 days after entrance into China. Apply for X2 visa if you are
planning to study for one semester or less.
Please send the visa copy and flight information to the contact email.
Getting to HBIIBE
A: After arriving at Beijing Capital Airport, you can take the Airport Express
Shuttle to our city, Qinhuangdao (140 Yuan), and then you need to take the Taxi to
our campus (70 Yuan). Please show the card on the back of the paper to the taxi.
Bus Location：
T3 departure hall gate 1, T2 first floor gate 15.
B：Take the shuttle bus to the Beijing Railway Station(30 Yuan)，then take the train
from Beijing to Beidaihe Station(about 90 Yuan).Finally, take the Taxi to HIIBE
campus. (20-30 Yuan). Please show the card on the back of the paper to the taxi.
Registration of your residence at Local Police Station
According to the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Control of the Entry
and Exit of Aliens, you must report to the local police station after entering China
within 24 hours and fill in the temporary residence registration form. If you come to
the school directly after entering, your teacher will assist you with your declaration.
If you go to other cities instead, please bring your passport to the local police
station for declaration.
Registration
Place ： International Students Office, Room 106, Department of Foreign Affairs,
Hebei Institute of International Business and Economics
Documents：Passport, Acceptance Letter, JW202 Form.
Fees：Students need to pay for all the costs within one week after arriving.
Housing
All of the students must stay in the International Students Apartment. We normally
offer a double-occupancy room unless you request other arrangements. Each room
has furniture, separate bathroom, bedding, water-heater, air-conditioner, free Wi-Fi,
and other facilities.
Physical Examination
If you are holding an X1 visa, you need to take the physical examination at the
Qinhuangdao Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau after arriving at school.
The physical examination results are required to get the long-term residence permit.
Residence Permit
You are required to apply for the residence permit within 30 days from the date of
entry if you are holding an X1 visa. The residence permit allows multiple entries
and its expiration date normally will not be longer than 12 months.
Remarks: Allowing your visa to expire is an illegal act, violators will be charged
500 yuan/day, detained for further review, or deported. The driving licenses of other
countries are not recognized by the Chinese government. It is strictly prohibited for
students to purchase and/or drive motor vehicles.
FYI: It will cost about 30-50 yuan/day for food on campus.
