Ophthalmic Eye and orbital structure

Terminal branches: forantal area, ethmoid
and frontal sinus, dorsum of nose

Posterior communicating Join post. Cerebral A. and form “Circle of

Willis.”

Choroidal Give branches to 1. Crus cerebri

2. Lat. Geniculate body

Posterior inferior spinal Inferior surface of vermis

Central nuclei of cerebellum
Under surface of cerebral hemisphere
Medulla oblongata
Choroid plexus of 4th ventricle

Medullary Medulla oblongata

3. Basilar Artery
Formed by union of 2 vertebral arteries
Branch Sub branch Area of supply

deep middle cerebral vein + ant. cerebral and basal vein —>basal vein
Basal vein + great cerebral vein —> drain into straight sinus

Internal cerebral veins

• Thalamostriate vein
• Choroid vein
They form Great cerebral vein that drain into straight sinus.
