This study was conducted to determine the relationship between

Parental Involvement and Student Learning Skills as perceived by the

pupils in Wakat Elementary School. The researchers used a descriptive

correlation research design. There were 61 respondents of Grade IV pupils

in Wakat Elementary School in Academic Year 2018-2019. The

instrument used in the study was adapted questionnaire from Ringenberg

et al., (2005). It consists of two parts. The first part is the parental

involvement from Eipstein (2009) and the second part is the student

learning skills from miller (2008). The data were analyzed and interpreted

using mean standard deviation and pearson-r. Date revealed that the level

of parental involvement has the standard deviation of 0.83 and the overall

mean of 3.58 which means that parental involvement is often manifested.

The level of student learning skills has the standard deviation of 0.72 and

over all mean of 3.18 which means that the student learning skills is

sometimes manifested. The study revealed that there was no significant

relationship between parental involvement and student learning skills.
