WELCOME TO
THE RECKLESS SQUAD

Every time we plunge back into the ENDLESS™ Universe, we try to think of new ways
to immerse players in our intriguing yet deadly world. Every game needs a unique feel
and approach, while still retaining an overall coherence. With ENDLESS™ Dungeon, our
main challenge was to pay homage to Dungeon of the ENDLESS™ while offering a fresh
take on the game, ensuring that the two were truly distinct.
One of the ways we did this was by focusing more on the characters. This rowdy – and
lovable – bunch of adventurers make up the heart of the game’s narrative. They are
filled with big personalities, and all have their own tale to spin. Being able to pick from
the myriad of factions from the ENDLESS™ Universe to create this unique cast was a
pleasure.
We made sure that the heroes stood out within the diverse environments of the
STATION and could hold their own in its dangerous corridors. We experimented with
a lot of designs to bring vivid colors to their looks and made sure each would shine in
their own way. It was fun to think of ways their personalities could be reflected in their
animations sets, reinforcing their individuality. From the fiery Blaze, to the adorable
Shroom and the classy Fassie, there is a little someone for everyone!
Lastly, a discreet yet omnipresent character in ENDLESS™ Dungeon is the light. It
makes up a large part of the game’s identity and helps preserve the connection with
Dungeon of the ENDLESS™. We also made sure it was an integral element of the
gameplay. Using chiaroscuro, each room of the Station makes a different use of this
light, to illuminate its wonders and hide its secrets.
We have poured our love and hard work into these characters, and we hope you have as
much fun playing with them as we have had creating them.
