9. If n1 is the number of points on the line 3x + 4y = 5 which is at distance of 1 + sin2 θ units from (2, 3) and
n2 denotes the number of points on the line 3x + 4y = 5 which is at distance of sec2 θ + 2 cosec2 θ units from
(1, 3), then find the sum of roots of equations n2x2 – 6x + n1 = 0.
10. The equation f a line through the mid point of the sides AB and AD of rhombus ABCD, whose one diagonal
is 3x – 4y + 5 = 0 and one vertex is A(3, 1) is ax + by + c = 0. Find the absolute value of (a + b + c) where
a, b, c are integers expressed in lowest form

11. If the equations of the diagonals of the parallelogram formed by the lines, 2x − y + 7 = 0; 2x − y − 5 = 0; 3x
+ 2y−5 = 0 and 3x + 2y + 4 = 0 are ax + by − 5 = 0 and px + qy+ 1 = 0. Find the value of (a + b + p + q).

12. Points P is 2/3 of the way from the point F(−5, 3) to G(4, 15). Line L is perpendicular to the line FG and
passes through the point P. If the equation of the line L is ax + by = c, where a, b and c are relatively prime
integer and a > 0 then find the value of (8a + 9b + 10c).
13. Two equal sides of an isosceles triangle are given by the equations 7x – y + 3 = 0 and x + y – 3 = 0 and its
third side passes through the points (1, –10). Determine the equation of the third side.
