Before Tiles Laying

6 Check for Drawing with site conditions for

7 Check for levels and dimensions of FFL

During Tiles laying

4 Check for proper mixing and specified mortar
mix proportion .
5 Check for roughening of plaster bed.
6 Check for following during fixing of tiles a)
wetting of tiles.
b) wetting of surface
c) Pattern of fixing
d) Coat of cement slurry for fixing.
e) Thickness of joints between tiles.
f) True level of surface and plumb
g) True horizontal top tiles surface
h) Matching of tile joints
i) Finishing of edges for cut tiles
j) Right angles
k) Check whether skirting tile fix on flooring
tile with over lap of minimum 5mm or gap is
there.
L)Required slope in toilets into floor trap.
 M)Regular shape cutting at electrical and
plumbings openings
POST CHECKING OF TILES WORK:

1 Check for flush pointing of joints with cement
or pigmented cement.
2 Check for cleaning of joints
3 Final check for pattern, plumb, right angles,
surface finish, level surface, etc.
4 Check for cleaning of Tiled surface.

period
6 Check the all the tiles joints are in stright line
7 Check the tiles hollowness , specify no. of
tiles
8 Check for slopes
