    RESEARCH QUESTION

    IS WATER FOOD AND AGRICULTURE IMPORTANT ?


    Water plays a very important role in keeping you
    hydrated . According to science it is impossible to stay
    more than 3 days without water. Water also plays a
    key role in agriculture .

    Agriculture is mostly done for the use of food. People


    work hard day and night for food as agriculture is
    hard and mostly takes a long time

    Food is very important for us because it gives us


    energy. Without any energy you cannot do anything,
    you won’t even be able to move and we can stay
    without food for maximum 3 weeks more than that
    you will die.

    ISSUES

    Population growth, increasing demands for food,


    ever-growing competition for water, reduced supply
    reliability, climate change and climate uncertainty
    and

    droughts, decline in critical ecosystems services,

    competition for land use, changing regulatory
    environments, and less participatory water resources
    governance are contributing to increasing difficulties
    and challenges in water resource management for
    agriculture and food

    LOCAL PERSPECTIVE

    Tamil Nadu has a high water scarcity but almost 20%


    of the land in Tamil Nadu is used for agriculture . We
    get food from agriculture that is why there are so
    many varieties of food in Tamilnadu.

    In Tamil Nadu the most common plant grown is rice .


    That is why most food in Tamil Nadu are made from
    rice. There is high water scarcity in Tamil Nadu

    because it is very hot and there is not a lot of rain
    here.

    National perspective

    In India 6 to 8% of land is for agriculture. Water is


    mainly used in agriculture so water is a little common
    in India. The whole country dependents on agriculture
    as it gives us food . almost 30% of the world's food is
    from India. Water in India is very pure without any
    minerals .

    Global perspective

    The Earth is our Mother land, it gives us water, food ,


    and agriculture and lets us stay happy. Agriculture is
    done it is transported to many countries, water is
    purified to drink , food is prepared safely. All these
    come across human abilities too.

    Conclusion

    Do not waste water and food and whoever you are


    you can do agriculture.
