 Reports the relative bearing of a gun or the tool to surface real time:

• Ensure that perforating guns are in the correct orientation before firing.
• Confirm that Power Swivel Joint (PST) has rotated a gun or tool to the
desired relative bearing
• Confirm the relative bearing of a second string or cable behind casing
when used with the Metal Anomaly tool.

 GBS is used for securing perforating guns to the casing before
the gun is fired.
• Is set before the guns are fired so minimal shock to tool
• Used for high underbalanced perforating to protect against being
blown out of hole
• Hanging off heavy guns to protect cable head
• Has shear pins for back-up closing of slips
• Can be set to no feed through if tool is closed – improved safety
• Multiple sizes from 2.12” (2 7/8” csg) to 7.0” (9 5/8” csg).

• VPM-G Disconnects and grounds a ballistic device so that

tractor operations comply with API RP 67
• VPM-H Switches upper head to 2 different outputs on the
lower head. eg switching between tractor and PL string
