Apple Computer, Inc. engages in the design, manufacture, and marketing of personal computers
and related software, services, peripherals, and networking solutions. It also designs, develops, and
markets a line of portable digital music players along with related accessories and services,
including the online distribution of third-party music and audio books.
Responsibilities:
The aim of this project is to provide full BW Application Development and Maintenance (ADM)
support for all the client’s locations across the world. This is done using “follow-the-sun”
approach.
• Work involves scheduling BW jobs, monitoring these schedules on Tivoli and BW monitor,
working on raised vantive tickets, resolving abends (or errors) that occur, interacting with the
client (for resolving errors, performing system changes, clarifying issues, status meetings etc),
creating objects (infopackage, ODS, infocube, infosource etc), performing enhancements and
break-fixes in the system, maintaining and tracking statistics data generated both automatically
and manually, running system, unit and regression tests.

products, consumer portable power products, and oral care products. It operates in 200 countries
with India and Russia as major growth areas
Responsibilities
Client : Gillette
Project : Braun OEM Project
Platform : SAP BW 3.0B
Duration : 9 months
Grooming: Consists of blades, Razors (Wilkinson India is from Gillette) and Toiletries (light
guards and hair sprays)
Batteries: Consists of Duracell Product Line
Appliances: Consists of the Braun Product Line (electric shavers, small household appliances and
electric thermometers)
Oral Care Products: Consists of Oral B and Electric toothbrushes
Project Summary:
The supply planning system in APO is being extended to include OEM vendors. As part of the
business process, OEM vendors will produce finished goods (on behalf of Braun) and sell them to
Braun. To produce certain finished goods, the OEM vendor, in turn, would source certain
components from Braun Company as inputs for their production process. Braun Company supplies
components to the OEM vendor through `sub-contracting’ process or outright `sale’ process. The
OEM vendors then ship the finished goods to Braun’s supply warehouse or Braun markets as the
case may be.
The stock of components that are in transit between Braun factories and OEM vendors
as well as the stock of finished goods that are in transit between OEM vendors and SWH /
markets respectively need to be captured and reported in the BW system, also we need to
capture inventories, Demands and Receipts, Production Actuals at OEM Vendor
Responsibilities:
• Created complex ODS objects(staged 3 diff layers) and loaded data into ODS for data
staging in BW
• Created and activated Communication Structure, Transfer Structure, Transfer Routine,
Update Rules (both ODS and Info Cube level).
• Actively involved in Data extraction from SAP R/3 DataSources and through Flat Files.
