Learning Objectives: As a result of this lessons, students will be able to:


- Identify household object
- Complete sentences correctly using there is, there
are. (Affirmative and negative)
- Talk about prepositions of place.

Materials and Resources: Wider world book (Student and work book),
Worksheets.

Lesson Procedure

I. Warm-up

Teacher greets to their students.

Students play Simon says: Actions verbs.

II. Presentation

Teacher stick 3 pictures on the board and he ask who know how they are called.

Teacher presents the objective of the class: Today we are going to learn about our abilities.

Teacher asks volunteer to say the page and the number of the activity.

Teacher presents the vocabulary through pictures and online game about the actions verbs.

Teacher shows 3 pictures of famous people to describe their abilities. Teacher describe herself.

Teacher make some sentences with their own picture:

I can study

She can make cupcakes

He can`t do exercises.

You can`t jump.

Students do the exercises from the page 66 to 73.

Teacher shows a dialogue.

Teacher gives instructions to read the dialogue and asks for volunteers to read the dialogue,
then teacher says: First, girls read. You will be ……….
Now, you guys. You will be ……………….
Students listen the dialogue for the third time and then repeat it out loud to pronounce it
correctly.

Teacher write the grammar in the board.

III. Guided Practice

Teacher asks to write in a little paper their abilities and try to guess who is the person with
these abilities. The student who guess the first is the winner.

Teacher asks to their students describe to his/her favorite person`s abilities.

Teacher says: I am going to start, then each of you has to follow with the next partner.

IV. Independent Practice

Students do the exercises from the page 48 to 51.

V. Consolidation

Teacher asks for the student book and asks to solve the exercises.

Assessment and Feedback:

Students will be assessment through rubrics, practical exams, and self-evaluation.

Teacher give their students constructive feedback and specific recommendations for improving the
skills required for the exam.
