WATER ENGINEERING
ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING
CONCLUSION
 INTRODUCTION

• Civil engineering is one of the oldest jobs in the world. Civil

engineering deals with constructing, designing and maintaining a
environment.
• This includes structures such as Buildings, Roads, Bridges, Airports,
Dams, Railways and Many More.
• Civil Engineer has an impact on the things we use every day and our
surroundings.
 Types of Civil Engineering Projects
• There are 9 Types Of Civil Engineering Projects:
1. Construction and Management Engineering
2. Geotechnical Engineering
3. Structural Engineering
4. Transport Engineering
5. Water Engineering
6. Environmental Engineering
7. Earthquake Engineering
8. Forensic Engineering
9. Coastal Engineering
 Construction And Management
Engineering
Construction and management
engineering is about creating things
like Bridges, Buildings, Roads and
Railways.
The purpose of construction is to build
these structures in the most efficient ,
safe, sustainable and environmentally
friendly way possible.
The purpose of managing is to manage
these projects in that way the owner of
the project can make sure that there is
value in return for money spent on the
project.
 Geotechnical Engineering

• Geotechnical deals with a different type

of ground for every project.
• Geotechnical engineering is the field
deal with structures such as Tunnels,
Bridges, Roads, Railways and more.
 Structural Engineering

• Just like Construction and

Management Engineering, Structural
Engineering uses maths and Physics
to do the job.
• Analyzing and Designing the
construction of Bridges, Towers,
Buildings, Dams and more is the job of
Structural Engineer.
 Transport Engineering

• Transport Engineering is the Planning,

Designing and Operation of Large
Transport Systems.
• We have many ways of Transportation
today, Such as Road, Railway, Water
and Air Etc.
 Water Engineering

• Water Engineering involves designing

ways to store or direct water.
• Water Engineers Design and Build
hydraulic structures like Dams, Canals
and Water Distribution Systems etc.
• Water Engineering is focused on
dealing with Floods, Ground Water and
Natural Coastal Water.
 Environmental Engineering

• Environmental Engineering
concentrates on designing innovative
ways to conserve densely populated
areas and preventing pollution from
destroying the environment and natural
resources.
• Environmental Engineering help
address global issues and improve
control of recycling, public health,
water and air pollution etc.
