Teachers are individuals who practice continuous learning. This is the reason why
In-Service Trainings were developed. Tubod Elementary School is one of the schools that
prioritize development for teachers. Hence, Tubod ES held its INSET last December 14-18,
2020.
Registration was done in the first day December 14, 2020 at 7:30am to 8:30 am.
The first day of INSET started with an opening program. The singing of the Philippine
National Anthem was conducted by Mrs. Nenita B. Miguel. This was followed by a prayer
led by Mrs. Jenelyn E. Cabatingan. The president of teacher’s organization, Mr. Diolito P.
Rosell, welcomed everyone in the said training through his opening remarks. Mrs. Jessica M.
Arnado, the school INSET coordinator gave a short orientation about the background of the
training and she assured everyone who was present in the seminar that each will be equipped
with enough knowledge about the topics prepared by the speakers. We were very glad and
blessed enough to have our PSDS, Mrs. Laarni D. Cayao during our opening program she
gave us a short message. She encouraged full participation of every participant to make this
year’s In-Service Training a successful one. Mr. Hilbert J. Enoc presented the facilitators and
the participants of the training. Our active and fatherly Principal delivered also a short
inspirational message he emphasized that the success of every program lies on the active

ways of designing optimal learning experiences and in assessing learning progress. It is
essential that assessment should be used to inform and improve classroom practices as well as
promote learning outcomes. She reiterated further that we should utilize alternative tools
without creating pressure on teachers, learners and their families. Assessment should be
holistic and authentic in capturing the attainment of the most essential learning competencies
and is integral for understanding student learning and development. Morning sessions end
with an open forum where participants shared inputs and ideas. Lunch break was officially

Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belong to the people who prepare
for it, and the greatest asset of every school is the personality of the teachers.
