Sub. Improvement Program of 6AY series engine

Dear Sir,
Herewith YANMAR wish to inform the improvement program for the gear material of 6AY series
engine. We changed material of the gear which is for idle, CSW-P and LO-P from S45C to SCM418
or 415. We believe that we could improve durability by this material change.
Therefore, we would like you to arrange exchange work for those gears when you conducted the
engine overhaul.
Could you kindly refer to the below which is the detail of this material change.

(3) LO-P Gear : 148620-32210 (OLD:S45C) => 148620-32201 (NEW:SCM415)
