I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the learners should be able to:

b. Classify the different farm tools
c. Acknowledge the importance of knowing the hand tools and their uses

operation and practices in a small farm or vegetable garden in the backyard or in school.

used in the preparation of land. These are usually made of a special kind of metal.

5. It is a machine which is used in harvesting grain crops. It is the combination of harvesting

inventions, enabling a small fraction of the population to be engaged in agriculture.

16-20. We need to know the uses of the different tools and equipment before using it so that these
tools and equipment will make its life span longer. Knowing the uses helps us perform the tasks
easily. If we do not use it correctly, it will easily break or damage and will not function well. It can
cause accidents as well
