MARKS : 30% (50 MARKS)

Requirements:
1. Students in a group of 5 are required to analyse the 'Principles Challenges for Management of
Public Listed Companies (PLCs) in a Global Environment'.
2. Students need to choose one company of Malaysian PLCs.
3. Students are required to write a report which relates to the title given based on their observation of the
COVID-19 post-pandemic.
4. Students are required to include at least five (5) academic references using the APA system.
5. This assessment expects to relate course concepts to real-world examples and examine the relevance
of management concepts and theories in management practice.
6. A written report must include the following:
a) Introduction
b) Content and topic analysis
i. Problems Identification
ii. First Topic
iii. Second Topic
iv. Third Topic
v. Forth Topic
c) Recommendations
d) Conclusion
e) List of references/bibliography
f) Appendix (if necessary)

7. The length of the essay must be between 1,000 – 1,500 words (exclude cover page, table of content,
acknowledgement, executive summary, references)

1. Assignment should be computer typed using:
a. Size – 12
b. Font – Arial Narrow
c. Line spacing – 1.5
d. Have consecutively page numbers
2. The assignment should be submitted with a cover sheet stating your:
a. Title
b. Subject
c. Lecturer's name
d. Student's Matric ID & Name
e. Program ID/Group

Marks Allocation:
1. Marks allocation of this individual assignment will be as follows:
Responsiveness to Topic 10 marks
Communication of Ideas 20 marks
Organisation 10 marks
Sentence, Structure, Grammar, Spelling 5 marks
Number of words and references 5 marks
TOTAL 50 marks

2. The write-up's uniqueness, new ideas, and originality will entitle it to a higher mark.

Plagiarism:
1. Reflecting on your thoughts or standpoints of the subject matter is essential. If you take viewpoints from
others and use them in your work, the sources you have used must be clearly stated (in-text citation +
references).

2. The assignment must include a list of all works cited as references using American Psychological
Association (APA) format.

3. All submissions will be checked against an online plagiarism tool, i.e. Ouriginal. The group report should
score less than or equal 30% of similarity checks. If the similarity checks are greater than 30%, the student
has to re-submit this assignment again, or marks will be penalised. The group leader must submit the full
report to the Ouriginal email address of mzothman.UiTM@analysis.ouriginal.com by using YOUR
@student.uitm.edu.my.

Submission:

1. Since this is a group assignment, the group leader will be responsible for submitting this assignment
in the uFuture system under the assignment menu.

2. A printed copy of the report also be submitted on shelf/rack in front of lecturer’s room before the
deadline.

3. The submission in the uFuture system must be in Microsoft Word type of format.

4. The group leader must make sure all the group members' ID is keyed-in upon the submission.

5. The deadline for submitting this assignment will be Friday, 27th January 2023, before 5:00 pm.

6. Please name your file as the following < Company's Name>_M1BA24XXX_GROUP.

7. Failure to submit by the due date would result in the candidate being awarded zero marks.
