MARKS : 20% (50 MARKS)

Requirements:

1. Students must choose a ‘A Famous Contemporary Leader’ from the ‘Fortune’s Most Powerful Women
in Business of 2022’ list.
2. Students need to explain
o leadership traits and skills such as drive, motivation, honesty and integrity, extroversion, self-
confidence, and conceptual ability
o leadership behaviour, such as task orientation and relations orientation
o leadership power, such as position power and personal power.
3. Students must include at least three (3) academic references using the APA system.
4. The length of the essay must be between 500 – 800 words (exclude cover page, table of content,
acknowledgement, executive summary, references)
5. This assessment expects to relate the leadership concepts among international leadership.

Format:
1. This assignment would need your creativity to present it in an article format.
2. However, the following information is compulsory to include:
a. Have consecutively page numbers
b. Table of content
c. Reference (APA Citation)
3. The assignment should be submitted with a cover sheet stating your:
a. Title
b. Subject
c. Lecturer’s name
d. Student’s Matric ID & Name
e. Group

Marks Allocation:
1. Marks allocation of this individual assignment will be as follows:
Problem Identification 10 marks
Writing Skills Content 20 marks
Organisation 10 marks
Sentence, Structure, Grammar, Spelling 5 marks
Number of words and references 5 marks
TOTAL 50 marks

2. The write-up's uniqueness, new ideas, and originality will entitle it to a higher mark.

Plagiarism:
1. Reflecting on your thoughts or standpoints of the subject matter is essential. If you take viewpoints from
others and use them in your work, the sources you have used must be clearly stated (in-text citation +
references).

2. The assignment must include a list of all works cited as references using American Psychological
Association (APA) format.

3. All submissions will be checked against an online plagiarism tool, i.e. Ouriginal. The student should score
less than or equal 30% of similarity checks. If the similarity checks are greater than 30%, the student has
to re-submit this assignment again, or marks will be penalised. The student must submit the full report to
the Ouriginal email address of mzothman.UiTM@analysis.ouriginal.com by using YOUR
@student.uitm.edu.my.

Submission:

1. The student must upload the report and submit it via the ufuture system under the assignment menu.

2. A printed copy of the report also be submitted on shelf/rack in front of lecturer’s room before the
deadline.

3. The submission in the uFuture system must be in Microsoft Word type of format.
4. The deadline for submitting this assignment will be Friday, 2nd December 2022, before 5:00 pm.

5. Please name your file as the following <Full Name>_M1BA24XXX_LEADER.

6. Failure to submit by the due date would result in the candidate being awarded zero marks.
