I. ABSTRACT:
This study try to research in some aspects of the
demographic history of Middle Megreb during the end of the
middle Ages and the begining of the modern period by through
Al -Hassan Al –Wazzan (Leo Africanus)'s book . And that is done
firstly by studing the general features that characterize the
demographic situation of the Middle Megreb country, then
studing the areas of population spread of this country, finally
doing a statistical study about Middle Megreb population dring
the research period (begining of 10AH/ 16AD century).
Keywords: Middle Megreb; demographic ; Al –Hassan Al -
Wazzan; the book of "Wasf ifriqia". The beginning of the 10 AH
