1.1. INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND
The cafeteria is the place that give catering service to the student in the university college of CBE (AAU). Students need
to eat food properly and see their diet as a balanced diet that will ensure enough nutrition that they need in their daily life.
However, the students often have difficulty getting their preferred meal on campus. And also a case for a student who
was allergic to certain meal products. While in the cafeteria itself, there is a weakness in preparing a meal. These problems
have led to the idea of developing a system that would help students to choose the food that is available in the cafeteria.
This project aimed to develop a system that helps students to get a meal that is preferable by the majority of the student
and also help to improve meal preparation in the campus cafeteria altogether. This system required the cafeteria owner
(campus) to fill their meal menu and the student register as a user to view meals and choose them.

There are a few problems that lead to this project. Firstly, a student does not get their preferred food..
Secondly, students who have allergic to certain meal products. This may be seen as a small case that most people overlook
this matter. However, these types of students require more attention as they need help getting enough nutrition that they
need.
In general, this proposal is written to propose an efficient way for meal preparation to enhance and improve. At the end of
the project, it will be very useful and did a huge Contribution to every student.
The goal of this project is to create a system that will show meal list is available in the campus cafeteria. Meal preparation
service will be provided to help the student to choose their favorite meal.
