International Design Competition” as follows.

Competition ◦ Title: Seoul Metropolitan Dong-daemun Library International Design Competition

◦ Site Location: 691-3, 691-9, 691-2, Jeonnong-dong, Dong-daemun-gu, Seoul, Korea
Summary ◦ Total floor Area: 25,000㎡
◦ Competition Type: Two-staged design competition, International competition
◦ Design Costs: KRW 8,747,000,000 (including VAT)
※ Includes planning design, design development, construction design stage, and various
certifications, including Green Building Certification (Top Grade), Zero Energy Building
Certification (Grade 4), Building Energy Efficiency Rating Certification (Grade 1++),
Intelligent Building Certification (Grade 1), and Barrier-Free (BF) Certification (Excellent).
Includes insurance premium for damages. However, the design fee may be adjusted in
consultation with the ordering organization if the design scope changes (such various
certification upgrades, etc.) after the designer is selected.
◦ Estimated Construction Costs : KRW 164,875,000,000 (including VAT)

Eligibility ◦ [Stage1] Any domestic or foreign licensed architect, and up to Three persons can enter as a team
◦ [Stage2] Five entrants selected from Stage 1 and up to Four person (team) can enter as a team
