Ingredients:

1 tablespoon oil (such as vegetable or canola oil)

1 tablespoon chickpea flour

1 medium onion, finely chopped

1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste

2 tablespoons tomato sauce

1 tablespoon turmeric powder

1 tablespoon paprika

1 tablespoon cumin powder

200g (7 oz) tofu, cubed

Bread for serving

Instructions:

In a frying pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat until it's warm.

Add 1 tablespoon of chickpea flour to the warm oil and fry it until it turns a golden brown color. This
will take a few minutes and will give your dish a nice roasted flavor.

Add the finely chopped onion to the pan and sauté it until it becomes soft and translucent. This
usually takes about 5 minutes.

Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and continue cooking for another 2 minutes. This will infuse the dish
with a lovely aroma and flavor.

Add 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce, 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon of paprika, and 1
tablespoon of cumin powder to the pan. Mix everything together to create a flavorful base for your
dish.

Gently add the cubed tofu to the mixture, making sure it's coated with the delicious sauce. Cook for
an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the tofu is heated through and absorbs the flavors.

Serve your tofu dish alongside your choice of bread, whether it's slices, rolls, or pita bread.
