LOO MM RRC AETOTH CU RBOMARELADTT, LHt0- #0189 4 7H (HLTA) Introduction The LH10 series is a digital display unit which digitally displays linear positions or displacements with high accuracy in combination with linear Magnescale. With Sony's unique Magnescale system and the latest microprocessor and custom LSI based on our long- standing digital technologies, it offers high reliability. Read this manual for effective use of LH10. Features ‘Machine tool error compensation LH10 linearly compensates errors arising from the in clination of deflection of a machine tool, and displays the actual displacement of the machine, Thus, the displayed value accords with the actual displacement of a workpiece to achieve high accuracy positioning. This function enables higher-accuracy machining and restoration of machine tool accuracy. Selectable resolution The resolution is selectable by the selector switch 0.001 mm (0.00005"), 0.002 mm (0.0001'), 0.005 (0.00027, 0.01 mm (0.0005"), or their respective diameter displays (double counting). Further the high-speed response of 60mimin (39's) Is, attained for every resolution. ‘High performance and high reliability LH10 employs the modernest custom G-MOS LSI in the heart of the electronic circuitry and highly luminant Green fluorescent tube for the display, which ensures high reliability and a long service lite Touch Sensor The Touch Sensor (an option) facilitates the establish- ment of a datum point and the measurement of a workpiece. eDetecting function of absolute zero point on scale ‘When a scale with builtin absolute zero point is con- nected, the absolute zero point on the scale (fixed point) can be detected wherever the scale stands. The detected fixed point is useful as the absolute zero point for machining For model LH10 #017, #018 #O1C, # 01D (8 number of axes) ‘*Offset zero point function LH10 can set up an offset for the absolute zero point and relocate it easily. This may be used effectively for set- ting up the zero point on a horizontal boring machine, for instance. For models LH10-018, and #01D (im: number of axes) S81 BAPE / Chapter 1 1. &MBOLHC MEE / Names of Parts and Their Func! te (oa Potaity only the-sign 's spayed) Enki yeens Mode indicator MARORAGREMS SLADE THRO IAUER HUTFEL, eRMMOMUELHIO-9O12, 90189 47TH. “BAK/Name of part wnt oF Power switch 29 RR Digtal spiny = ve tet igt m8 rindi Basic Operations ns AUS 9 Fe SRL t—(IRIMIEL OA) ‘Aneclute zero point Touch Sensor selector Key “only forthe models with te absolte ero polnt detecting function) 259 benzo Flat keyboard ‘@For t-axis model, place a desired axis label (standard accessory) for the desired axis. ‘eThe above shows the appearance of model LH10-3017, 3018, 3016, oF 3010. s fe L DAT IF ERT EMBONORRE LY, SONY RoRowsy.
