I. Introduction
The Information Age has significantly transformed the landscape of
communication and connectivity, giving rise to the widespread use of social
media platforms. Social media, a trademark of this era, has revolutionized
the way people interact, share information, and engage with the world.
However, the Information Age's influence on social media is not without
difficulties. Specifically cyberbullying refers to the use of digital
technologies, such as social media, to harass, threaten, or hurt other
people. In the era of social media, this phenomenon has become more
widespread and poses serious problems for people, particularly young
people, and for society. The impact of cyberbullying is profound, affecting
not only the mental and emotional well-being of victims but also their social
lives and overall security. In this digital age, understanding and addressing
the issues of cyberbullying in the context of social media is essential for
fostering a safer and responsible online environment for everyone.

II. Objectives

1. To raise awareness about the issue of Cyberbullying in the

Information Age.
2. Aiming to educate the viewers about the various forms,
consequences, and the prevalence of Cyberbullying.
3. To showcase the role of social media platforms in either exacerbating
or mitigating cyberbullying, emphasizing their responsibility in
creating safe online spaces and the measures they take to prevent
harassment.
4. To encourage viewers to think before they click, fostering a more
respectful and inclusive digital environment.

III. Significance of the Film

1. Serves as an educational tool to young people, teaching them
about the consequences of cyberbullying and promoting empathy
and kindness online.
2. To educate a wide audience; helping parents, educators, and
individuals of all backgrounds to better understand and combat
online harassment.
3. To encourage conversations within families, prompting discussions
about the responsible use of technology and the importance of
standing up against online harassment.
IV. Gantt Chart

V. Details of Activities
1. Preparation
As part of the preparation, the group has presented the drafts for
topic proposal and Gantt chart and story board last 13th of October 2023
that were subjected to finalization submitted and approved on 17th of
October 2023 via Canvas. The rest of the activities under preparation
are casting, script drafting and finalizing, and settings finalization.

1.1 Topic Proposal

As one of the requirements, the group has presented
the topic or the subject that would be shown in the short film.
The topic that the whole group agreed upon discussing via
Discord was cyberbullying. The said proposal only lasted a
total of 48 hours.

1.2 Gantt Chart

Creating and planning a clear vision for what days
everyone would be available; and allotting time to every said
activity is crucial. The whole group discussed the following
schedule to check everyone’s availability. The creation of the
chart only took a few days in total.

1.3 Story Board

One of the requirements for submission was the
storyboard. It is used to check what would be the idea and
what to expect from the said films. Alongside some scenes
that may still be subject to change. The illustrator, Quervie
Manrique has prepared the following both the final and the
draft.

1.4 Casting
The short film would be animated and edited by Angelo
Maminta. Script written by Aldrin Ligutan, Kirk Endozo, and
Daniel Ling. Camera man being Aldrin Ligutan, Angelo
Maminta, and Gabriel Capuno. Story board made by Quervie
Manrique, For Advertising, the poster and the trailer; would be
led by Quervie Manrique and Kirk Endozo. And directed by
everyone in the group. The film would be starring Rome
Capuno as “James” the protagonist, Quervie Manrique as
“Gary” the father of the protagonist, Daniel Ling as “Erza, Kirk
Endozo as “Alan”, and Aldrin Ligutan as “Michael”.

1.5 Script Drafting

The script drafting is the initial version of a script for a
play or film. We will start the activity by jotting down the ideas,
characters, and scenarios. The duration of the script drafting
will take from Oct. 13 to 20 2023. The assigned members for
this activity are Daniel Ling, Kirk Endozo, and Aldrin Ligutan.
The members will make sure that all the dialogues for all the
scenes will be included in the script. For an organized
collaboration the members will create a one file that will be
accessible to all members for them to be able to edit and
revise the script.

1.6 Script Finalizing

Finalizing of script will be done from October 21 to 22. The
members assigned for finalizing the script are the writers Daniel, Kirk
and Aldrin. The writers would have to proofread the script for
grammatical errors, remove any unnecessary dialogue and would
not pass the maximum allotted time for the short film, which is 5
minutes. The script must be clear and checked if it follows a proper
structure (beginning, middle, end) of the story. They would also have
to make sure that the script properly follows.
1.7 Finalizing of settings
There are two settings that will take place on the filming.
The school hallway and a home or house. We decided
that the school hallway would be in one of the hallways
in FEU Tech. The house that we decided to shoot in is
the house of Rome Capuno who is the main actor in this
film.

2. Filming
Filming would be done both from our homes and at the school
once both proposal and the filming got approved and signed. The
total days for filming the said short film would be 2 weeks and 5 days.

3. Post-film activities
Post-film activities include but are not limited to Video Editing and
Rendering. The total allotted time for the following is almost 3 weeks (18
days). The following includes:

3.1 Video Editing

The video editor used Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing,
Adobe After Effects for animation, Adobe Photoshop, and Canvas for
Photo editing, and lastly, Handbrake for the Video Transcoder.
3.2 Rendering
Depending on the power of the CPU and the
complexity of the edit and the color grading, rendering may
take more or less than a day.
