RULES AND REGULATIONS

 1. Applications must be submitted no later than the 15th August 2023. Entries received after this date
will be disregarded.
2. All applications and documents submitted must be in English ONLY.
3. Applicants whose films are already invited to this year’s Busan International Film Festival or other
badge holders of Busan IFF / ACFM shall not be considered.
4. Busan International Film Festival reserves the right to refuse and disqualify any submission deemed
inappropriate, inaccurate or false.
5. Applicants will hold the responsibility for the application, documentation, and cost for Visa
registration. The festival will however, provide an invitation letter and supportive documents.
6. Applicants granted with the program badge may choose to attend at their own cost. Busan
International Film Festival shall provide suggestions for accommodation options upon request.
7. The submission of this application will be considered to be an acknowledgement of the Rules and
Regulations of the festival and the program.
8. Applicants with any criminal, misdemeanor records and/or illegal backgrounds will not be accepted
into this program and their applications will be disqualified.
9. All applications are screened and evaluated by Busan International Film Festival. The selections are
final and confidential.
10. Selected applicants will be informed of the result of their selection individually.

- This application form does NOT guarantee the invitation to Platform BUSAN.
- Kindly submit ALL the following items to platform@biff.kr in a single email (preferably in
one combined file). Submitted materials will not be returned and will be discarded after
this year’s festival.

- All events will be held in English. Participants should be able to fluently communicate in
English.
