Metaphor: comparing situations not things.

1- Carry the weight = endure
2- Fill the brain= study
3- Go extra mile= do the effort
4- Fly into the sky= achieve a goal
5- Lolled about/around= a very relaxed position.
6- Seemed listless= unwilling to do anything needing effort
7- Lapped by small waves= the top surface of the upper part of the legs of a person.
