    CHAPTER 2 THE SEALING Symthesis—Description of the event—What is the seal of God?—When the sealing. occurs: time and duration—Con- ditions in order to be sealed. SYNTHESIS ‘THE SEALING, a spiritual process invisible to human ey is now under way and will be finished soon, at the close of proba: ing work begins for each Christian on the day of his conversion, and it ends for him at the close of probation, whether this be at his death or at the end of the investigative judgment. This work, accomplished by the angels of God and the Holy Spirit, consists of writing the ples of the divine Iaw—including the fourth commandment—in the life of every submissive soul. “The sealing accomplishes the Following objectives: 1. It fixes in the life the principles of God's law. 2. Itmakes faithful Sabbath observance possible for those who are sealed as they meet apostasy and fierce persecution. 3, It prepares them to pass unharmed through the time of trouble and to live above sin while they are without a Mediator. 4.
