 (AC-S08) WEEK 08 - TASK: ASSIGNMENT - HAVE YOU EVER?

ABEL: Good evening, dear professor and colleague. My name is Abel Ormeño and I am a

UTP student. I study Psychology because I like it very much. I study at night because I

work in the morning.

WILMER: Good evening, dear professor and classmate. My name is Wilmer Avalos and I

am a UTP student. I study Mechatronics Engineering because I like it very much. I study at

night because I work in the morning.

ABEL: And this is Task: Assignment - Have you ever?

WILMER: Hello, Abel! How have you been?

ABEL: Pretty good, thanks!

WILMER: What have you done lately?

ABEL: Well, I have finished my studies in the university.

WILMER: That’s great Abel! How is your family?

ABEL: My father was sick, but everyone else is fine.

WILMER: I'm sorry. How are you? You told me you wanted to buy a car because the bus

stop is far from your house.

ABEL: Yes, but he has had lots of expenses.

WILMER: What a problem! And did you continue going to the university by bus?
ABEL: Yes. And I had an unusual experience on the bus on my way to work.

WILMER: What happened?

ABEL: Have you ever fallen asleep on the bus?

WILMER: Yes, some times. So, that’s what happened to you?

ABEL: I remember I had an exam in university, spent all night studying and felt so tired

that I had a cup of coffee before going to work. That day, I got on the bus, sat behind the

driver and started listening to music with my headphones. I told the driver to let me know

when I got to my destination.

WILMER: Did he tell you when you were near to your work?

ABEL: No, when I woke up, I was at the final stop and it was 12 noon. I was late for work

and I was penalized. I was very sad because it never happened to me before.

WILMER: And what did you do?

ABEL: I had to work overtime. I haven't forgotten that experience!

WILMER: Thank you so much for coming and sharing a little bit about you.
