EVS subject General Instructions
for ALL candidates appearing for FEB-MARCH 2024 HSC Board Exam
(who have applied from this College)
Allcandidates appearing for the FEB-MARCH 2024 HSC Bard Examination in EVS are required to appear for
EVS Oral Examination as well as EVS Journal Submission.
Both activities will be conducted separately. Aseparate schedule for both activities will be displayed
on the Notice Board as well as on the Junior College website.
It is mandatory for all candidates due to appear for EVS to be present for both examinations.
HSC result of candidates failing to submit the EVS Journal willbe declared as Failed.
Examiners will Question candidates based on the written Project and Assignment.Submission of completed
EVS Journal is mandatory for every Candidate
Evaluation: Project Work: 30 Marks (20 Written +10 OralExam)Assignment: 20 Marks (10 Written +10 Oral
Exam)
Total marks obtained out of 50 will be converted into Grade
Project and Assignment Document Preparation Details
Every Candidate must write One Project and Five Assignments in the Journal.
The Project as well as assignments must be Hand-written by the candidate, not printed
and photocopied.
The Project must be written as per criteria mentioned in the Project Book.
Do NOT cover the EVS Journal.
Each Assignment must be written in 100 to 110 words in the allotted pages.
NO Diagrams or Photos or Figures or stickers can be used for completing the Project as well as
the Assignment.
The project should be 10 to 12 pages. Candidates can use Tables, Graphs, Pie Charts
Statistical Charts, and Questionnaires Survey Sheets etc.

Every candidate is required to refer to Maharashtra State Board's text book for EVS.
Every candidate is requiredto purchase the EVSproject workbook and Journal assignments/ Seminar
Report Workbook (Bal BhartiJournal-M.S. Bureau of Text Book Production) available in the market.
Project Topics
List for the same is provided in the Text Book. Candidates are required to select one topic from the given
list only.
Assignment Topics
List for the same is as provided below. Candidates are required to write Assignments in all five topics.
(1) Explain various factors responsible for migrationof people.
(2) Explain the impact of Climate Change.
(3) Explain the any TWO elements of sustainable agriculture.
(4) Explain the need and importance of consumer education.
(5) Explain river water pollution in India.
Note:- Schedule for submission of EVS Project willbe displayed on 1" November 2023.
