Subject: Relocation of our Existing 12” EMDAD Jet Fuel Pipeline and CP related elements.

Dear Mr. Shameem,

Based on our site meeting held on 10/02/2020 at 10.30am at the proposed work location, we have
decided to release the requested NOC upon the following conditions along with our other general NOC
conditions.

1. Our existing 12” EMDAD Jet Fuel Pipeline and CP system related elements like- CP Test posts, road
crossing bond boxes, vent pipes etc. shall be shifted to new locations.
2. The new locations shall have the proper access for the pipeline patrolling and pipe maintenance works.
3. It is agreed that, proposed works shall be done by EMDAD approved Contractor only.
4. Emdad asset modification and relocation work’s Method Statement (MS), Risk Assessment, design
calculations, Drawings and related Technical submittal shall be sent to EMDAD for prior approval.
5. Any cost impacts shall be borne by M/s Wade Adams Contracting (LLC.).
6. Prior and after CP system reading shall be taken to make sure that CP system retains the same original
functionality as far as working condition and effectiveness of the system is concerned. This shall be
added in your scope of works.
7. Care shall be taken that, the new locations for the pipeline and Cp system elements shall be at least 10
mts away from the road edge.

8. Crush barriers shall be provided around our relocated elements.

9. The extended vent pipe shall be of same type and quality as that of the existing one/size/diameter/
type of paint/ aesthetic appearance and the end point height shall be at 1mt above the ground
level.
10. New sacrificial anode beds shall be provided close to the new CP posts.
11. Additional approximate 50mm thermocol sheets of same size that of the protection slab shall be
provided beneath the protection slabs at places where our 12” EMDAD pipeline crosses below the
proposed roads. It is a must requirement to avoid from direct vibration causing from vehicle
movement.
12. The new relocated kilometric/distance indicator post shall reflect the actual chainage distance.
13. EMDAD forwarded as built drawings (AutoCAD format) shall be updated accordingly for the changed
locations of our pipeline and CP system elements.
