Researching on a restaurant
We decided to book as a group and were
looking online for restaurants that could
accommodate 6 people. We also thought of the
meal preferences (can't eat raw fish, beef, etc.)
of one another in narrowing down the
restaurant.

Reservation 2
We initially booked online for four people due to our
different schedules. I had to input my credit card details to
reserve. Since a day opened up where we were all free, we
decided to go on the same day. I easily cancelled my
reservation online and my friend reserved for 6 people via
telephone call. (They spoke in English!)

3 Arriving at the restaurant

They greeted us warmly, took our temperature,
reminded us to sanitize our hands, and also
took our coats and umbrellas. They then leaded
us to our table.

Ordering
We asked for a menu and decided to go with a set meal. While going 4
over the menu, the servers put glasses of water. It could be because
of the language barrier, but the servers did not give out their own
recommendations and just left us to decide the meals on our own.
Our set menus can be customized which was great. I also expected
the servers to comment on our food choices, if this appetizer goes
well with my main course but they just took note of our choices.

5 Waiting for our orders

Waiting for our orders took quite a while. They
however served complementary bread while waiting.
Though we know, it was not allowed, one of my
friends, shared her outside food (chocolates) and we
were told that it was not allowed. Though it was said
very matter of factly, I was just relieved that they did
not charge us corkage.

Serving our orders

They served our meal per course and dishes were also
aesthetically pleasing. We however had a longer wait time
given one of my friends ordered tow main dishes. As such,
we had to wait for him to finish his first main dish before
they served our main dish. Staff also tried to explain the
elements of the dishes to us when they served them.

7 Payment & leaving the restaurant

Friend A paid using her credit card but Friend B signed the
credit card payment slip. I wished that they would at least
double-check as to whom the card belongs to. We left and I
appreciated how the staff and even the chefs greeted us and
said "thank you". They even made eye contact and bowed.
