Areas of research that governments
should spend money on

In a world under the pressure of pollution, the discovery of methods to protect the planet
and humanity should be a priority. So, finding sources of clean energy or space exploration
would be areas in which governments should invest because governments have financial
resources to support such expensive studies which require large teams of well-trained people
with innovative ideas, to apply experimental methods to obtain good results.
Energy is a strategic field. The entire activity of our society is based on the energetical
system. But fossil fuels, which are our primary resources, pollute the environment. Beside this,
they are almost consumed and we need to replace them with other types of resources. So, green
energy is a solution which can help us to perform our activities in a natural friendly mode. Green
energy is non-polluting and, investing in this area, governments involve in reducing pollution,
saving the planet and improving the living conditions of mankind.
Space exploration could be another area in which governments could get involved.
Beside that the researching space may clarify many questions regarding the appearance of the
universe and the laws that govern it, it can reveal additional sources of energy or water that can
be used by humankind. In the same time, new planets which can host life could be discovered
and these planets could become a good alternative for us to live on.
In conclusion, green energy and space exploration can bring a lot of advantages which
assure the future of our planet and humankind, and this can be done only with the full support of
governments.
