Learning Influences.

There are many influences that could affect students’

performance, especially in the online modalities. It could be a positive or negative effect.
According to Vale et al. (2020), the students were offered the method called blended
synchronous learning where students attend live streams using the internet.
Distraction, communication, interaction, and student attendance are the main factors
that affect the students’ performance. Schedule conflicts, internet issues, and normal
distractions are the negative effects on students’ performance. Active students
performed 12% better who attends 75% of the lectures than the inactive student.
According to Brew et al. (2021), the students’ environment like the home is known as
having a great influence on students’ academic performance. Students who
encountered poverty may live in environments that provide fewer resources for learning.
The study shows that less fortunate students are forced to work and have less time to
focus on academics because they are likely to concentrate on household works more
than their education. Many families who are unable to feed their members twice a day
are common in developing countries despite working the entire day. Minors students are
engaged in jobs just to survive; the small amount of salary they receive with the minimal
support from the government causing these families the inability to pay for their
education resulting in failed academic performance.
