Update on the start of the second half of term

Dear staff members,

We have sent the letter, below, to all parents this afternoon to provide an update on the state
of the upgrades to facilities taking place onsite at SFG.

On Monday, BMAT staff shall be meeting with DFE staff and reviewing the work, ensuring that
we are happy for the school site to reopen, with welfare and the need for satisfactory teaching
conditions being our top priorities. Our aim is for the school to reopen on Tuesday, 31 October.

I shall be onsite with Dee all day Monday and shall be meeting with members of staff to both
discuss plans for future teaching and answer any questions you might have. I would like to
personally thank you all for the incredible hard work to educate the pupils of SFG in difficult
circumstances. I want to be clear that staff welfare is a top priority for me.
