was enacted on its final reading.

BARANGAY ORDINANCE XXX

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED FORTY THOUSAND

PESOS (P240,000.00) AS SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET NUMBER XX FOR THE CALENDAR
YEAR 2022 INTENDED FOR THE GRANT OF FY 2022 SERVICE RECOGNITION
INCENTIVES TO BARANGAY OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES IN ACCORDANCE TO
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER 01 DATED DECEMBER 16, 2022 CHARGED FROM THE LOCAL
GOVERNMENT FUND OF FY 2022

WHEREAS, Pursuant to Administrative Order 01 dated December 16, 2022, which stipulates
the initial guidelines on the grant of Service Recognition Incentive, the Office of the President
issued the order mentioned above to provide the initial procedures on the grant of Service
Recognition Incentive to the government employees for Fiscal Year 2022.

WHEREAS, The Sanggunaing Barangay recognizes the importance of the roles and sacrifices
of the Barangay officials and workforce in the success that we achieved this year in spite of the
hardships brought by the recent pandemic and inflation.

WHEREAS, The Barangay has available funds for appropriation by way of a Supplemental
Budget in the amount of Two Hundred Forty Thousand which remains unobligated coming from
the additional income/savings of the current year.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED AS IT IS HEREBY ENACTED BY THE SANGGUNIANG

BARANGAY OF BARANGAY NBBS PROPER NAVOTAS CITY, BY VIRTUE OF THE
POWERS VESTED IN IT BY LAW, IN SESSION ASSEMBLED THAT;

Section 1. The amount of two hundred forty thousand pesos is hereby appropriated as
Supplemental Budget xx for Calendar Year 2022 intended for the grant of Service Recognition
Incentive for Fiscal Year 2022 of Barangay Officials in accordance to the Presidents’
Administrative Order 01, and subsequently by DBM Budget Circular 2022-4.
Section 2. Let a copy of this ordinance be furnished to the Sangguniang Lungsod for review,
and the offices of the City Budget, City Accountant, and the City Treasurer for their information,
guidance, and reference.

Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
