Exploring the Web Page and Coffee Culture:


Link Between Java and Coffee Creativity

Introduction:
An overview of the research project will be presented in this chapter. The aim of this research
is to study on the influence of service quality and servicescape on customer satisfaction
towards behavioral intentions in International Coffee Chains. This chapter has eight sections
that include research background, problem statement, research objectives, research questions,
hypotheses of the study, significance of the study, chapter layout and lastly, the conclusion for
this chapter. This chapter begins with research background that outlines the broad field of the
research, followed by problem statement and research objectives to identify the problems and
the purpose of this research. Next section is the research questions which guides this study’s
arguments and inquiries. Subsequent section will be the hypotheses development where
proposed conceptual framework will be formed after reviewing all the relevant literatures. Last
but not least, before the chapter layout of the study and the conclusion of the whole chapter,
significance of the study will be explained briefly on the importance and contribution of this
research.

Background Research:
Coffee bean is originated from the seed inside the coffee cherries which grow along the coffee
tree's branches and it takes years for a coffee tree to grow mature ("What is coffee," n. d.).
There are ten steps in preparing a cup of coffee started from seeds which the steps include
planting, harvesting the cherries, processing the cherries, drying the beans, milling the beans,
exporting the beans, tasting the coffee, roasting the coffee, grinding coffee and brewing coffee
("What is coffee," n. d.). All the processes have great impact on the coffee quality if there are
any mistakes made during the processes.
Conceptual Framework
Objective:
In this study, the researcher targets to:

• To evaluate the prevailing net page to the developed web page in internet site fine.
• To become aware of the areas in which the brand-new internet site has improved
over the old website.
• To check the present and evolved website in terms of its function and functions.

Statement of the problem:


The purpose of this study is to compare En Zai Coffee House’s Web site with that of its
developers. The specific questions the researcher aims to answer are as follows.

• How can researchers compare existing networks with designed networks in terms of
network characteristics?
• How can researchers identify improvements to an existing website design?
• How can researchers assess existing and developing networks in terms of function
and features?

Scope and Delimitation:


This study focus mainly on the relationship between service quality and costumer satisfaction
in small business firm at Imus, Cavite. The researchers will also focused on costumers because
the researchers are interested in viewing this subject from the costumer perspective and
costumers who consume services. Numerous coffee shops in Imus is one of the factor in
choosing this kind of business firm where the study will be conducted.

Significance of the Study:


The researcher anticipates that the finding of the study should be beneficial to the following:

Customers: It will utter their opinions and set standards that will lead to the positive
improvements of certain business. In order to progress their small business, they are stating
suggestions what they are going to pay attention and enhance positive outcome to them.

Employer: It will ensure to the customers that the service quality will help their small
business. With the help of employers to the manager and the owner, they are securing for the
good organization of the business and showing good presence to the customers. future
research. Because of this study, it will serve this as their reference and improve their study
also.

Manager: It will know the viewpoints of their customers when it comes from their service
quality. They are managing the small business when the owner is out, so they are overseeing
what is happening recently to their business.

Owner. The study will give consciousness about what kind of service quality will help to
satisfy and meet the standards of the certain customers. It develops progress in their
establishment that will benefit them and their loyal customers.

Hypotheses:
Based on the research objectives and questions, the hypotheses have been developed as
followed:

Hypothesis 1: There is a significant relationship between service quality and customer


satisfaction

Hypothesis 2: There is a significant relationship between servicescape and customer


satisfaction.

Hypothesis 3: There is a significant relationship between customer satisfaction and


behavioral intentions.

Definition of Terms:
A coffeehouse, coffee shop, or Café is an establishment that primarily serves various types of
coffee, espresso, latte, and cappuccino. Some coffeehouses may serve cold drinks, such as iced
coffee and iced tea, as well as other non-caffeinated beverages.
