Honorable chair and fellow delegates,

 In the words of, sanitary inspector of Brazil’s general board of public

health José Paranhosthe; military-imposed censorship restricts
efforts to battle diseases and leaves the population unaware about
them.

 Additionally, censorships thwart governments from tracking the

epidemic.

 Since the start of the great war, military imposed censorships play a
major role specially when brazil declared its participation in it.

 On another hand, brazil urges the implementation of censorship of

newspapers that are igniting panic and menacing the maintenance
of public order causing disorders within the society

 However, brazil’s leaders are conscious and are very cautious while
initiating censorship.

 As Carlos Maximiliano the Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs

said "the use of discretionary powers corrupts the most
levelheaded; governing without accountability pleases even
the strongest"
