governments should have professional arborists employed
to maintain a register of public trees. The health,
condition, and value of existing street trees should be
assessed before making any decisions regarding their
removal, with removed trees to be replaced in an
appropriate location nearby.
• Develop tree management policies: Establish clear
guidelines and regulations to guide the management,
maintenance, and protection of street trees, ensuring their
long-term viability.

BIM HERITAGE: POINT CLOUD DOCUMENTATION

Brief introduction by the chairman about the guidelines of the ProEV. The guidelines will be tabled at the post-cabinet. There will
be training that will be conducted estimated to start in mid-June 2023.

The draft of the procedure was established by Natural Resources, Environment & Climate Change Ministry (NRECC), MITI, KPKT
and BOMBA.

Items highlighted in the guideline include:


a. Procedures for the application & approval of the development of EV charging stations to be aligned with the OSC Manual 3.0+
b. This will involve 6 processes including mandatory pre-approval from TNB and/or LLM (for related projects), the normal practice
of planning consideration at PBT, in line with Manual OSC3.0+,CCC process as practice,
c. The level of approvals by the PBT shall be based on the categorization of charging stations and types of application of charging
stations – whether new or formalization of approvals for completed EV charging stations.
d. Planning and design requirements and guidelines related to new EV charging stations.
e. A target number of EV charging stations by 2025
f. Strata matters - Possible further discussion in relation to the ownership of EV stations in stratified development, especially
high-rise residentials. Discussed and recommended REHDA that until guidelines requirements are firmed, EV stations are to
be kept as part of common property.

8. Matters or issues requiring direction or attention of the PAM Council:

Self-regulation/self-assessments that are required by the PSP upon application need to be further discussed upon confirmation
from the forum. The main input shall be from PBTs and JBPM.

1) Charging station on open area or ground floor - no specific requirement
2) Charging station inside especially basement, required to be
a) compartmented with fire rated wall and/or fire insulated & rated roller shutter, design up to the architect
b) smoke detector to be provided
c) Slope & water/ oil/ chemical drain and other requirement to refer to DOE
d) no fire alarm panel required but to provide fire alarm that can connect to the main panel
e) no breakglass required
f) fire extinguishing required

B) PLANMALAYSIA highlighted draft submission/ approval timeline as below:


1) outdoor EV charger = 7 days
2) indoor EV charger = 14 days

C) ZEVA (Zero Emission Vehicle Association (ZEVA) to discuss with PAM & IEM on the professional fee for the above

4) ZEVA presented increment cost for EV charging bay installation due to bomba requirement. All parties commented most of the
items shall be inclusive. Pending ZEVA to send the revised costing to all parties to study. ZEVA requested 1 more week for
them to meet other industry players, ie Tesla, Mercedes-benz, BMW, etc to understand better on the EV charging station
requirement.

PAM GOLF 2023


After hiatus for 3 years since Covid- 19 outbreak, PAM Golf
2023 come back with the small scale as the start for the PAM
Golf 2023.

PAM Golf 2023 was successfully held on Thursday, 22 June


2023 at Glenmarie Golf and Country Club sponsored by Inovar
Contracts Sdn Bhd. A total of 65 Golfers including PAM
Members and guests take part for this year tournament. The
tournament split into 2 categories such as Medal A for PAM
Members with handicap 0-18 and Medal B for PAM Members
