Alvin Villanueva Cruz announces his candidacy for president of the FASNA homeowners association for the 2024 elections. As a former president in 2011, he is committed to resolving pressing issues like safety, lack of financial transparency, and failed leadership transitions. Cruz believes these issues stem from violations of association rules, including postponing elections without cause, delaying financial reports, and failing to properly transfer responsibilities between leaders. He pledges to restore trust, revive Christian values, unify the community, and adhere to rules and laws in a transparent and accountable manner if elected president.

at # 6 Fairlane street. A Senior Citizen advocates and at present, President of SC Purok 7b ( Fairlane/ Twinville/ Greenheights/ Majestic ).
Today, I am announcing my candidacy for the position of PRESIDENT-FASNA in the upcoming 2024 elections, scheduled for November this year!
My decision to run stems from a
genuine desire to restore our beloved Subdivision ( Fasna ) to its former glory. I fondly remember the days of great success and happiness, and I believe it's time for us "homeowners" to relive those moments together.
Having previously served as
President in 2011, I am well- acquainted with the duties and responsibilities of the role. It saddens me deeply concerning about several pressing issues that demand our immediate attention to wit:
A). "Peace and Security": Ensuring
the safety and security of our community members is paramount. B). The Controversial "Non- Submission of Financial Statement": Upholding the principles of transparency and accountability is vital, and I am committed to rectifying this very issue promptly. 3). "Failed Turnover": The smooth transition of essential documents and funds during the change of leadership is crucial, and it's disheartening to see this process mishandled.
I firmly believe that these issues
can be resolved with genuine efforts and fairness. It pains me to witness violations after violations of our laws, especially concerning our very own rules and regulations relative to our Fasna CBL.
Specific violations include:
a). Postponing Yearly Elections without Justifiable Cause: ( walang katanggap tanggap na dahilan ) This practice, used to prolong tenures without proper mandates, is a violation of Rule 13, Sec 89 / d of R.A. 9904 Magna Carta for Homeowners and Homeowners Association as amended!
b). Delay in Submitting Monthly
Financial Statements: Timely submission of financial reports is not just a mandate; it is a moral obligation that I intend to uphold.
c). Failure to Transfer Association
Responsibilities: Violating the max 60-day turnover rule, as per Sec. 97 Rule 13 R.A. 9904, is a direct breach of trust with our community.
Such blatant violations disqualify
individuals to run from Association office, as per Sec 73 / Rule XI, R.A. 9904. Let's put a stop on this mess. "Paano po natin mabibigyan ng kadalaan' yon mga gumagawa ng hindi kanais nais sa ating Fasna"?
Misrepresentation erodes trust and
fosters negative suspicions, which is deeply disrespectful to our community members.
My commitment to you is to restore
decency, revive our core Christian values, and bring back the old practiced of meeting new entrants. I will show beyond doubt how the traditional governance is proven effective. I reject greed on material things and unnecessary attention, focusing instead on unifying our community. I plan to simplify our roles and responsibilities, adhering to our rules (CBL) and relevant local and national laws, ensuring clarity for all residents.
I earnestly seek your impartiality
and humbly request your support and participation in my honest crusade against exploitation.
Together, let us uphold the principle
of "to serve and not to be served." I am determined to re introduce the foundational of trust, integrity and confidence into our cherished FASNA (Association). Thank you for your kind attention and support for change!
