Subject: GROOMING AND WEARING OF THE PRESCRIBED COMPLETE SCHOOL UNIFORM
Please be informed that all students are required to be in complete uniform while inside the
University campus. Continuing students must start wearing the prescribed complete uniform
immediately, while new students must be in the prescribed complete uniform by 11 September
2023 or earlier, if possible. Civilian attire may be worn on Wednesdays and Saturdays, except
during examination days. In the event that an examination will fall on a Wednesday or Saturday,
students are required to wear their complete uniform.
Requests for exemption from wearing the prescribed school uniform, as in the case of students
having a separate uniform for practicum, must be addressed to the Vice President for Augustinian
Formation and Mission, duly endorsed by the respective deans and the Vice President for
Academic Affairs.
The validated University Identification (1D) Card forms part of the complete uniform. It must be
worn at all times inside the school premises, even when in civilian clothes.
Wearing of sleeveless shirts/blouses/dresses, crop tops, shorts, micro-mini skirts, tattered pants,
and slippers is prohibited inside the school premises. Unnatural hair dye is not allowed. Male
students should have a proper or decent haircut. The hair should neither cover the ear nor touch
the neck of the collar of the polo barong and/or shirt, and hair at the top of the head should not
be more than two inches in length. No hair bands, head bands, and hair pins for males. Male
students are not allowed to wear earrings. Likewise, other body piercings and tattoos are not
allowed for both male and female. For the complete details, please see the attached guidelines.
Violation of this policy will result in confiscation of the student's Identification (ID) Card by the
security personnel, faculty members, administrators, and other authorized university personnel

GUIDELINES ON THE WEARING OF THE SCHOOL UNIFORM, ACCESSORIES, AND GROOMING
The school uniform identifies the students as Augustinians, and as such must be worn properly
and with dignity. Violations in the policy of wearing of the prescribed school uniform,
accessories, and grooming may be sanctioned by a written reprimand, suspension, or non-
readmission. Thus, we wish to reiterate the University policy on the wearing of the prescribed
school uniform, as follows:
1. The school uniform carries the name of our University. It must be worn neatly, properly,
and with decorum.

BLOUSE
2.1.1. Officially prescribed white blouse and cravat, with the college pin on the
left collar.
SKIRT
2.2.1. Officially prescribed plaid (red, yellow, and green) skirt.
2.2.2. Skirt length should be on, or slightly below, the knee.
FOOTWEAR
2.3.1. Closed black “Cuban” shoes (heel: at least 1.5 inches). Loafers, boots,
Pointed shoes, rubber shoes with straps, and sandals are not allowed.
2.3.2. Only skin-tone stocking is recommended.
ACCESSORIES:
2.4.1. Silver, gold, white, or black strapped wrist watch is recommended.
2.4.2. Dangling fashion jewelry (Le. earrings, bracelet, necklace, etc.)
and multiple earrings are not allowed.
MISCELLANEOUS
25.1. Tattoos are not allowed.
2.5.2. Hair must be kept tidy. Unnatural hair colors such as blue, green, violet,
pink, etc. are not allowed.
2.5.3. Heavy makeup and dark colored lipstick are not allowed. Only day time
makeup is recommended.
2.5.4, Fingernails must be kept clean and cut to a reasonable length.
25.5. Sleeveless shirts/blouses/dresses, crop tops, shorts, micro-mini skirts,
tattered pants, and slippers are not allowed on non-uniform days.
2.5.6. Wear the USA ID with the official cord within the campus at all times. The
ID cords must be kept clean.
3, GENTLEMEN
3a.
SHIRT
3.1.1. Officially prescribed polo barong with USA logo and college pin on
the left collar; with plain white T-shirt tucked inside the pants. No printed
or colored T-shirts should be worn with the uniform.

3.2.1. Officially prescribed bottle green pants.
3.3. SHOES
3.3.1. Black leather shoes and black socks. Loafers, rubber shoes, and sandals are
not allowed.
3.4, HAIRCUT
3.4.1. The hair should neither cover the ear nor touch the neck collar or
neckline of the polo barong.
3.4.2. Unnatural hair colors such as blue, green, violet, pink, etc. are not allowed.
3.5. ACCESSORIES
3.5.1. Baseball caps and other headwear are not allowed.
3.5.2. No hair bands, head bands, and hair pins for males.
3.5.3. Tattoos, piercings, and other accessories are not allowed.
3.5.4. Silver, gold, white, or black strapped wrist watch is recommended.
3.6. MISCELLANEOUS
3.6.1. Fingernails must be kept clean and cut to a reasonable length. Only
colorless nail polish is allowed.
3.6.2, Sleeveless shirts, shorts, tattered pants, and slippers are not allowed on
non-uniform days.
3.6.3. Wear the USA ID with the official cord within the school campus at
all times. The ID cord must be kept clean.
