Short Story

(Once in a bustling city, there lived two young boys named Jack and Daniel. Jack and Daniel weren’t
blood related but they saw each other as brothers as they share the same interest. Both Jack and Daniel
were interested in Space. Daniel dreamed of one day becoming an astronaut along with Jack but Jack
always had the fear if something bad was gonna happen if they do. Despite Jack being scared, they
both grew up to be astronauts.)

One day, Jack and Daniel was told that they were gonna be the one to be going to space this time. As
Daniel and Jack was preparing, Jack wanted to ask something to Daniel. As Jack approached Daniel,
Daniel noticed and looked at him excited. “Oh Hey Jack! It looks like your finished preparing. Wait
for me for a few more minutes. Im almost done.” Daniel says excitedly.

Jack nodded. “Oh yeah sure but…” Jack says nervously. “But what?” Daniel responds. As Daniel
questions Jack, Jack gets a bit nervous to say what he needs to say because he’s too scared he might
shatter Daniel’s dream but despite that, Jack got the courage to ask Daniel about it. “Well… do you
think this is a good idea?” Jack says.

Confused by what Jack said, Daniel asked “What is?” As Daniel said that, Jack responds “You know,
going to the space thing..” Daniel was surprised as what he heard from Jack. “What? Your not
excited?” Daniel says.

“No that’s not it… You could say just a bit nervous..” Jack says. After hearing that, Daniel said
“Come on, you can do it. Jack, This is a once in a lifetime. Not many people can get this chance to go
to space.” “I know” Jack says. While Jack was still a bit worried, Daniel says to reassure Jack “Don’t
worry, I’ll be by your side this whole time. Let’s get going, there probably waiting for us by now.”

As they both arrived, Daniel says “Wow! This is so cool!” along with what Jack said “This is
amazing.” When Daniel realized what Jack said, he along said “See? I told you, nothing to be scared
of here.” Jack replies “This place may look amazing but I still like it better back on earth.” Confused,
Daniel ask’s “Huh? Why?”
Jack looks at Daniel before he says his statement and he says “I mean.. You can’t really do anything in
space. You can just admire.” Daniel replies “That is true since space is a little.. you know.. simple.”
“Don’t say that.” Jack says. “This space void may be simple, but it holds magical cosmos and sacred
galaxies for years.” Jack explains. With what Jack said, Daniel was thinking about something and then
said “With the way you say it, I can see what you mean. Its beautiful.”
