WORKING SCHOLARSHIP COMMITMENT PLEDGE

THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2022 TO 2023

Dear the President of Asia Evangelical College & Seminary,

I am deeply convinced of the call that I have received from the Lord to undergo sound spiritual training at Asia
Evangelical College & Seminary (AECS). As such, I hereby solemnly pledge to consecrate and commit myself fully to
the task of studying at AECS as a full-time working scholarship student. I also commit to faithfully obeying the
procedures, policies, rules, and regulations mentioned here below:

1. I will excel in my study, spirituality, community life, and ministry

2. I agree to work during summertime 8 hours daily and I agree to work during school time 2 hours daily
and I agree to work on Saturday’s full half day
3. I agree to do any assigned work without any complaints or hesitation. I will submit to the authority of
AECS fully
4. I will faithfully serve as a Sunday School teacher at appointed places or cook on Sundays and whenever it
is necessary.
5. One-day allotted work absent will be penalized Rs.300/- (school days Rs 100)
6. One-morning exercise, devotion/chapel service absent will incur restitution as Students’ Handbook, and 3
days late will be considered as 1 absent
7. 7 days’ leave can be given per year (related to medical)
8. He/she must begin the working scholarship right after graduation, if he/she couldn’t join right after
graduation he/she has to work the next following vacation
9. If he/she is found to disobedience towards AECS authority and also practice eating any kind of tobacco,
eating pan, Talab, and drinking alcohol he or she will be terminated from the working full-time
scholarship and also might be terminated from the seminary immediately
10. Mobile use is strictly prohibited during working hours.

Important Notes:

1. If you are found out not being faithfully obeying the above rules and procedure, you will be given a written
warning once, and then for the 2nd time you will be terminated from this privilege
2. If you have any medical issues that you are not capable to work, please notice that we would humbly request you
not to apply for this full-time working scholarship privilege during your study at AECS.
3. All the penalty/restitutions will be cut from your scholarship amount; after counting at the end of your working
days if there is any shortest of working hours incurred by you, he or she should pay the balance amount or work
extra hours after graduation until he/she pays off the amount.
